My most current newsletter will always be found here. I was going to try to do one every couple months or so, but that fell by the wayside. I now hope to get them out quarterly. If you would like to look at older news, please feel free to visit either my blog at Tina's Thoughts or join my Yahoo newsletter group.
December, 2007
Hello again! It’s time for my not even close to monthly Newsletter. :) I have come to realize that despite the fact I hope to make a career out of writing full time, I really stink when it comes to writing newsletters to keep people apprised of what is going on in my world of writing. I always have plans to do better, but I never seem to get there. So, instead of promising I will do better, I am just renaming my newsletter as a quarterly update instead of monthly or bi-monthly. I promise if I ever get to the level of semi-annual, you can all beat me with your weapon of choice. Welcome to the newest members of this group. Every time someone new joins I get a fuzzy feeling deep in my stomach. (No, that isn’t a result of the chocolate I just ate.) I have contest news and new release news to share with you all. Let’s do the new (and newish) releases first. **************************************** RELEASES September 4 Loose-Id Released my fling length story, Destination Ecstasy. I have gotten some incredible reviews for it, and some great responses. To know that I entertain people with my writing, that they are able to lose themselves in my story for just a little while, makes me feel like it is all worth it. Even if I don’t become the next Nora Roberts or Laurell K Hamilton, at least I have entertained those that have read my stuff. Maia’s given up on a future with someone, but fate has other plans. In the form of Dante and Kale.
December 1st is the release day for the second of the Tarot Card Anthologies: Synchronicity Vol 2. September 1st was the release day for the First of the Tarot Card Anthologies: Synchronicity Volume 1 Abigail Montgomery has a gift. She reads cards, and sometimes she is compelled to read twenty two very special fortunes. This is the story of eight of those.
**************************************** BLURBS, EXCERPTS and REVIEWS Maia is a young woman with some personal issues, so when her friend gives her a two week paid vacation to a private resort in the Caribbean, she takes it eagerly. It is a great chance to do something different and have some fun. But she doesn't expect that fun to come in the shape of Dante and Kale, two of the hottest men on and off this planet.
The first thought that crossed Maia’s mind was decadence. The bed was front and center, and there was no missing it. Larger than a king----sized bed, it was covered in pillows. Silk, satin, and brocade. All were thrown across the bed to create a cozy little nest. Unable to resist, Maia took a running leap onto the bed and landed gently, cupped by the softness surrounding her. She lay back into the heap of material and inhaled the glorious scents of the island. Definitely decadent. She moaned. “Colleen told me you liked to have fun, but I didn’t expect to see you rolling around the cushions like a gorgeous kitten.” Maia sat up quickly and looked in the direction the voice had come from. Another set of French doors, these open, led out to the beach. The voice came from the man standing in the doorway. An incredibly hot, gorgeous man. Her mouth watered at the sight of him. He was over six feet tall, with dark brown hair. She guessed him at about two hundred ten pounds, all solid muscle. A pair of fitted swim trunks clung to him like a second skin, leaving nothing to the imagination. Maia swallowed hard and quickly moved her gaze to the rest of him. Well-tanned, he had a sprinkling of hair on his chest that led her eyes back down to where she had just pulled them from. His pecs were firm and well-defined, and she had a sudden urge to run her hands over them. To tease his nipples until they were as hard as hers were now. His legs were strong and sculpted beautifully. And from the growing bulge in his swimsuit, he seemed to be enjoying the view. Maia looked down at herself with a scowl, and saw her silken tank top was twisted from playing in the pillows, and had pulled up to reveal her stomach. Her too large stomach. She blushed as she pulled her shirt down. She wasn’t truly fat, just a little chunky, and she wasn’t comfortable letting a man, a complete stranger at that, see her without clothes. Unfortunately, given her awkward position she yanked too hard and her scooped neck shirt plunged, revealing more than the top of her large breasts to his gaze. Pulling a pillow from the bed, Maia held it in front of her like a shield. She realized her panties were wet, and she prayed to all the gods in heaven that he wouldn’t come any closer. If he did, she might be forced to jump him, just to relieve the ache that was forming between her legs. Visions of the two of them rolling around on the bed, naked and sweaty in the hot summer heat flashed through her brain. Her body flushed and her breathing picked up. What the hell was wrong with her? She’d never had this kind of reaction to a man before. And definitely not at first sight. Take control, Maia. “Um, excuse me?” Well, yeah, that showed him you’re in control of the situation. He smiled even wider, showing gorgeous white teeth, and stepped further into the room. “I’m sorry. My name is Kale. I’m Colleen’s, well, cousin-in-law, I guess you’d call me.” He stretched out a hand for her to shake, and she finally got a chance to see his eyes. Gorgeous, dark blue eyes that she felt herself get sucked into, as though caught in a riptide. She didn’t want to fight her way out, though. The feeling was heavenly. Pulling herself back to the situation at hand, she climbed off the bed and extended her own hand to shake his. At the touch of his skin, however, she was instantly transported to a beach where she could see the two of them making hot, hard love. The waves were rolling in over them, but they didn’t care. She felt him inside her, his thick cock pounding away at her as she screamed in ecstasy. The vision was so strong she was practically thrown back onto the bed. Her breaths were coming in gasps, her pussy dripping wet. When she regained the ability to think, she looked up at Kale. He looked as shocked as she felt, but his smile widened.

Tarot Card Anthology: Synchronicity Vol. 2 Abigail Montgomery reads cards. And this time around she has twenty-two very special readings to do. From a woman who needs to learn the magic of love, to another who has to accept her inner beauty. A man who learns to look within himself, and a woman who has to face Death to move beyond. Will these people make the right choices for happiness? Or will their only chance at true love be lost forever?
Abigail had told her this was it. Tonight was the night. Something was going to happen tonight that was going to change Astrid’s world, and it was totally up to her how she accepted that offer. Astrid thought back to the visit she’d paid her mother’s friend when she’d found out she was in town. Aunt Abby had insisted on giving her a reading, something that was against her usual rules. She almost never read for friends or family. But she’d insisted. “The Star.” Astrid had smiled at that. Nothing seemed more fitting to her, even if she didn’t know the meaning behind the card. Abby had also smiled. “You know why your mother gave you the name Astrid?” “She always said something about hoping I would be a shining beacon of hope for others.” Abby nodded. “One who is touched by the Star is self confident and full of hope. One who gives as she takes, and is blessed and protected in most all she does. She wanted only the best for you.” Astrid smiled sadly. Her mother had been gone for almost three years, and still she missed her. Abby was the closest thing to family Astrid had now that mom was gone. “This card, today, tells me that the time has come.” Astrid looked up at Abby with a question in her eyes. “Tonight events will happen that will determine your future. There will be decisions to be made over the next few days, and what you decide will affect you for the rest of your life.” “But what happens tonight?” “I cannot say, but look to the stars and your questions will be answered. I cannot promise that they are answers you expect or want, but they will be there.” **************************************** CONTESTS Okay, the contest winners. Remember, you are all entered, just as a nature of being a member of the Newsletter list, even if you didn’t know about it. This quarter Michelle Hasker and I were offering people the chance to “star” in one of our stories in Synchronicity 3. After it seemed to be a hit in a couple chats that I attended while writing Synchronicity 2, we thought it would be a good idea for three. Sonya: Although not the winner of this present contest, your story is in Volume 2 of Synchronicity. Your hero is Noah, the proud and overprotective werewolf. Loretta: You are the winner for this contest. Please email me at tinabendoni @ yahoo.com or tina @ tinabendoni.com for information on the heroes and heroines. That is it, ladies and gentlemen. I hope you enjoyed reading the small excerpts, and plan on trying to get another one out again sometime in January or February. Bright Blessings to you all, Tina **************************************** Recipe

Coat each chicken breast in the parmesan cheese, make sure you pat down gently (firmly?), to assure the cheese sticks to the breasts. (I have found if I make sure the chicken is damp before I start coating them it works best) Heat skillet on med high to high Drizzle Olive Oil in (1 Tbs or so - not much at all) Place each chicken breast in pan. IMPORTANT: Once you place the breast, do not move it for at least 4 minutes. The cheese needs to form into a crust Cook on each side 5-7 minutes.
